Originally from a small town in Tennessee, Wayne completed his undergraduate degree at The University of Tennessee in mechanical engineering. Wayne has now lived in Northern Virginia for a number of years. When he is not working, Wayne is an avid sports fan, especially football, and an avid Tennessee Volunteers football and basketball. He also is a soccer enthusiast -- regularly attending the DC United games at RFK. He recently completed a fantasy adventure vacation completing a hike of over 120 miles across England.
Prior to joining OCI, Wayne began his career with IBM Federal Systems in Huntsville, Alabama --- later transferring to Manassas, Virginia. Most of his career was in program management, cost engineering and sales. After taking an early retirement from IBM and doing some proposal consulting, he then joined Oracle in Reston, Virginia as a practice manager in consulting and later as operations manager in their Federal Civilian division. He later joined Siebel Systems as consulting practice manger in their Federal Public Sector.
Wayne joined OCI in 2005 and strongly believes in developing strong business win-win relationships for both OCI clients and OCI professional proposal consultants. Since joining OCI, OCI revenues have almost tripled.
