In Memoriam – Statia Marrocco (1963 – 2017)

A dear friend and colleague, Statia Marrocco, passed away from cancer early on the morning of Tuesday, May 9th. She had worked at OCI for eight years. She first served as an inside sales person, but due to the fact that she was so talented and gifted, she was promoted to outside sales in August 2016.

During the five months left in the year, she sold over $2 million of business, an incredible feat for anyone, to say the least. This was because of her winning ways, integrity and strong work ethic.

Furthermore, whoever she came in contact with, instantly liked her, including OCI employees, customers, and consultants. Because of her loss, she’s left a big gaping hole, that’s very hard to fill and anyone following her certainly has big shoes to fill.

She had an immense conversational ability. Once you started a discussion, it was difficult to tear yourself away.

Employees and people like Statia don’t come around very often. The company was blessed to have her and we’re thankful for all she did.

Her memorial service will be held at The Atrium, Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, 9750 Meadowlark Gardens Ct, Vienna, VA 22182, on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM.
