OCI Joins Golf Event to Support Fund Raising for Central Florida Marine Corps Foundation

oci_golfMike Summers, our VP of Sales for the Southeast Region participated in the annual Central Florida Marine Corps Foundation (CFMCF) golf event, held April 12th , at Timacuan Golf Club in Lake Mary, FL.

Mike (far left in photo), was joined by Ryan Smith, Jeff Monoco, and John Schlott, Director, Business Development for L-3 Communications, Link Simulation & Training (the team sponsor). Not only did they have a great time for a great cause, their team came in first place at 15 under par with the scramble format used for this event.

The Central Florida Marine Corps Foundation (CFMCF) is a not-for-profit organization for military veterans. At least 75% of the members must be war veterans, and at least 97.5% of members must fall under one of the following categories:

  • War Veterans
  • Present or former members of the United States Armed Forces
  • Cadets (including ROTC students and students at Armed Forces Universities)
  • Spouses, widows, or widowers of individuals referred to the above

As an active and supportive member of the local community, CFMCF awards up to $10,000 in scholarships to deserving undergraduate students.
