OCI Joins Golf Event to Support Fund Raising for Central Florida Marine Corps Foundation
Mike (far left in photo), was joined by Ryan Smith, Jeff Monoco, and John Schlott, Director, Business Development for L-3 Communications, Link Simulation & Training (the team sponsor). Not only did they have a great time for a great cause, their team came in first place at 15 under par with the scramble format used for this event.
The Central Florida Marine Corps Foundation (CFMCF) is a not-for-profit organization for military veterans. At least 75% of the members must be war veterans, and at least 97.5% of members must fall under one of the following categories:
- War Veterans
- Present or former members of the United States Armed Forces
- Cadets (including ROTC students and students at Armed Forces Universities)
- Spouses, widows, or widowers of individuals referred to the above
As an active and supportive member of the local community, CFMCF awards up to $10,000 in scholarships to deserving undergraduate students.
The annual golf tournament, CFMCF’s only fund-raising activity, is an opportunity to support our organization’s projects through golf. For more information visit the CFMCF web site at http://www.centralfloridamarines.org/
