The contract is meant to match the agency’s new “project based mentality instead of a technology based one” for its IT acquisition, which should be taken into consideration when developing proposal responses.

Intelligence Community Preps Major Cloud Management Contract

Acting IC Chief Information Officer Mike Waschull recently said that the Central Intelligence Agency “is approaching the release of the request for proposals” for its Cloud Investment Multi-Cloud Management (CIMM) effort. The winning systems integrator will ultimately decide which commercial cloud solutions – through the Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E) program – best meet the specific requirements of various intelligence agencies.

The Waiting Continues: DHS Pushes Back $10B IT Contract Awards to August 2022
